Tara Haelle has been an independent science/health journalist for trade and consumer publications for over 15 years. Tara holds a bachelor鈥檚 in English and liberal arts honors and a master鈥檚 in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She is the infectious disease health beat leader for the Association of Health Care Journalists, and she has received multiple awards from national organizations for her articles and books, including awards for Vaccination Investigation: The History and Science of Vaccines and The Informed Parent: A Science-Based Resource for Your Child鈥檚 First Four Years.
